Caljan CurveTrack belt conveyor has been developed with three main priorities in mind: modularity, minimal downtime and safety. The modular design means that you can install a curve conveyor that fits perfectly into every installation, new or existing. Options, extras, supports/legs can be fitted as required. Installation and maintenance methods are the same for all sizes and types, as are many spares. Maximum up-time is guaranteed as luggage straps etc. will not catch in pulleys or between conveyors. If a suitcase, bag or sack bursts whilst travelling along the belt, the contents will be drawn to the edge of the belt and fall downwards. Materials will not become trapped in the bearings, so friction and chaffing are avoided. The patented belt guiding concept includes one-piece belt retainers, each with two pair of precision ball bearings. These remain in place when the belt is removed, so that there are no loose parts when changing the belt – a distinct advantage when replacing the belt at height. Safety first: Fingerguarding, side guards, pop-out rollers and other features ensure that the curve is safe to use, even when transporting soft backpacks with straps and fasteners or baby buggies.
